Community Impact
While our players perform well on the field, we are just as proud of the team off the field, as players embed themselves in the Rochester community through hundreds of volunteer hours at area schools, soccer teams, and other volunteer opportunities.
Med City FC players, coaches and staff volunteered in the community throughout the season, including reading to and playing with kids at the schools in May, helping at churches and serving food at the Ronald McDonald House, building houses with Habitat for Humanity and helping out at the Rochester Boys & Girls Club.
The players made lifelong friendships with the host families they stayed with during the summer. Many of the players have specifically mentioned their host family experiences as a major reason that they would want to return to Rochester for another season.
