It was a hot and steamy night last Saturday in the Twin Cities as Med City FC traveled up Highway 52 into Minneapolis for a meeting with Minneapolis City SC. With temperatures on the field of more than 100 degrees, it was bound to be a hard outing. And playing the Crows is never an easy task. And so it proved to be for the Mayhem.
After a 0-0 first half, the Crows scored on a PK about ten minutes into the second half and on a rebound of a shot off the post about 20 minutes later. That sealed a 2-0 final for Minneapolis City SC. Despite the two goals, goalkeeper AJ Jarvis had a strong night, making several fine saves to earn Mayhem Man of the Match honors.
